X-Ray & Imaging to receive new CT machine
X-Ray & Imaging have purchased a brand new state of the art 16 slice CT scanner to install in the Caloundra practice. The new machine will be capable of generating more concise images whilst using even less radiation than the previous model.
Senior radiographer and Footy Tipping Champion Lesley Breton explains, 'It is really quite exciting. All of the Radiographers can't wait to get cracking with the new scanner and see exactly what it can do.'
The acquisition of of the new CT machine is consistent with X-Ray & Imaging's policy of keeping medical imaging equipment on the cutting edge of imaging technology.
X-Ray & Imaging awarded Business of the Year
X-Ray & Imaging has been recognised for its excellence in diagnostic medicine by being awarded 2006 New Business of the Year and 2006 Overall Caloundra Business of the year.
Judges said that after consideration, X-Ray & Imaging were awarded as winners for their outstanding service to patients and clinicians.
